Taking In The Sites

So I’ve recently come across a couple of cool Web sites for those of you (myself included) with a desire to keep up with what’s new in the eco-community but a short attention span and even less time. (Get your Stumbling thumbs ready!)

Ecopaparazzi is a brand new site (less than 100 members) that was built as a social networking tool for visually creative greenies, but really offers a great variety of information on environmental topics. The slogan of the sight is “Look Out! We take action and pictures to heal the Earth” and its creator, Jeanette McDermott, a 20-year veteran of community environmental activism, is well suited for the challenge. Each day the home page of Ecopaprazzi is awash with stunning images of nature and wildlife submitted by its members. Not too mention outlets for book and film reviews, blogging, forums, messaging and more.

GreenLivingFeeds is another great site, very similar to Hugg and Digg, where users can submit new and interesting stories from the green scene and vote on the ones that the really like. Stories are archived by date, topic and popularity for easy browsing. A great resource for bloggers with writers block…

Happy Clicking!
