Twitter-pated

I’ve recently started to explore the world of Twitter.com and have fallen in love with its simple format and ease of use. The concept is simple and requires you to answer only one question, “What are you doing?” Millions of people answering this question throughout the day equals an instant network of information-tidbit-sharing. Links to profiles and websites makes it possible to explore someone more if you wish. Unfortunately, the Find People search function is a little limited, accessing the contact lists of only certain email providers, and the ability to search for a friend you know by name has been mysteriously “disabled” for the past few days…but don’t worry- the graphic tells me they’re working on it. Already I’ve found many interesting greenies to follow, and most have graciously followed me back (following and being followed are the way each person’s “twittering” ends up in your personal feed). I’ve even discovered a Twitter-er in the business of making gorgeous sand carved glass jewelry that will be perfect for a couple people on my holiday list (see image). Search for CreativeArtSoul on Twitter!
