Giveaway: Golden Path Alchemy
There’s been a lot of fuss lately about chemical toxins in the packaging, food, and cosmetics that are such an integral part of our everyday lives, and with good reason. Dangers of lifelong exposure to these so-called “health and beauty” products range from early puberty in young girls, to cancer in adults, and every allergy or skin irritation in between.
For those with difficult skin, that needs high quality products, finding something that soothes both your skin and your sense of environmental responsibility is essential. That’s why I was so excited to find Golden Path Alchemy, the only company synergistically combining gems, flower essences, therapeutic grade essential oils and Chinese and Western medicinals and botanicals to bring together both ancient and modern techniques that can transform the skin.
Some things that make Golden Path unique:
- All skin care products are formulated in small batches to ensure their quality and freshness.
- They have an organic garden in Montecito, California where they grow a portion of our raw materials for floral waters, tinctures and infusions of local herbs and flowers.
- Products are never tested on animals nor do they buy raw materials that are tested on animals.
- None of their skin care products use any synthetic materials or chemical ingredients. No parabens, laurel sulfates, phthalates, petrochemicals (mineral oil, paraffin, 1,4 dioxane just to name a few), pesticides, propylene glycols or any of their many derivatives. No irradiated herbs, GMO’s, soy, wheat, synthetic fragrance, urea, EDTA, artificial colors, alkoxylated amides (such as TEA, DEA, MEA and MIPA) mercury, placenta, lead acetate, hydroquinone, synthetic emollients (such as PEG compounds), synthetic alcohols, silicones, artificial colors or synthetic preservatives.
From my experience, the Golden Path products are a pleasure to use, and leave you with skin that is refreshed and toned, rather than dry and brittle. I especially enjoyed the special treatments, like the concentrated herbal mask combining a variety of cleansing clays, and the herbal steam concoction that’s like a refreshing cup of tea for your face!

Golden Alchemy is great because they use all natural ingredients, many of which are organically grown by them, or locally sourced. They also don’t test on animals (nor would they need to since their ingredients are safe and not laden with creepy chemicals). I don’t think there’s any question that what’s better for the environment is also better for my health.

what’s better than a skincare line that works to prevent impurities in our bodies and in our world? the mission and commitment that supports everything golden path alchemy does is exactly the forward-thinking business model we need. they take beauty to the next logical step. by using local and organic ingredients (never synthetics!), and compassionately avoiding any testing on animals, golden path alchemy is charting new territory in what it means to have healthy, clean skin and a healthy, clean conscience.

Their products are good for the environment and for us because they don’t contain yucky chemical ingredients like parabens and petrochemicals. The fewer of those on our skin and in our water, the better!

It is made from all natural and organic ingredients…
This is always the most important to me:
Products are never tested on animals nor do they buy raw materials that are tested on animals.
I also love that they grow some of their own raw materials in a small California garden. Love it.
Follow me @HeidiTown.
I LOVE the fact that some of the ingredients they use come from their own organic garden! Also, love the fact that there arent any parabens or other nasty chemicals. I also looked them up on the skindeep database, and they scored a zero, which means they are completely safe to use!
I love that they give explanations for why they use what. They want you to know that what you are putting on your skin is safe AND safe to the environment by explaining how to use each product. They inform what each ingredient is for on a health, and on a spiritual level. Very impressive!
