Are You Ready To Get Real About Climate Change?
Warming oceans, life-threatening snow storms, melting glaciers, and an increasingly toxic atmosphere.
In case you haven’t noticed, these effects of climate change are only getting worse, not better.
It doesn’t take a climatologist to see that we’re trashing the planet, and sooner or later, this disrespect is going to bite us in the ass.
It’s time to start wringing our hands and quibbling over the details. It’s time to get the facts out there to as many people as possible. It’s time to agree that while we may disagree on the particulars, the future of our children and grandchildren hangs in the balance.
Basically, it’s time to get real about climate change.
On September 14th-15th, the Climate Reality Project is hosting 24 Hours of Reality. This will be a global, live-streamed event. For 24 hours, in 24 different places – Al Gore along with 23 other speakers will be discussing climate change and dispelling false claims made by its deniers.
It’s beyond easy to get involved. Just go here to see the various ways that you can show your support and help convince your friends and neighbors to get real about climate change while they still have a chance.
